Bulk Oil Cargo

Seaborne oil traffic constitutes two thirds of Russia’s exports volume. Oil products are delivered to seaports in railway tanks, then are discharged either to an onshore storage tank, or transferred directly to a tanker ship. Handling and forwarding of liquid bulk cargoes are associated with stringent quality control of products arriving at the port, compliance with storage and transfer conditions, and with environmental legislation.

Universal Forwarder has experience in bulk oil cargo forwarding in the Azov-Black Sea basin, as well as well-proven schemes of interaction with railway operators, port services, surveyors, customs control offices. We arrange the loading of base oil and fuel oil to sea-going vessels in Russian ports in compliance with the instructions of our clients and informing them about all stages.

• We arrange timely movement of railway tanks to / from access non-public railway tracks in the port;
• We provide complete discharge and receiving of oil products from tanks wagons to the port tank or directly to the sea-going vessel;
• We organize the return of empty tank wagons as requested by our client;
• We ensure timely completion of customs and other procedures;
• We arrange pipeline purging before changing the oil product to be loaded;
• We provide conditions for sampling the quantity and quality of cargo by a surveyor;
• We process shipping documents;
• We notify about the cargo operations completion;
• We provide payment and financial services, remuneration to all involved parties;
• We provide monthly data verification on the cargo delivered at the port and loaded onto ships;
• We ensure the invariability of the quantity and quality of the received cargo until the moment of its transfer to a sea-going vessel.
